Job Overview :

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commissioning Agent responsible for managing and overseeing the commissioning process for both new and renovation construction projects.

The ideal candidate will ensure that building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and controls meet both design specifications and operational functionalities.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the comprehensive commissioning process, ensuring system compliance with design specifications.
• Draft, scrutinize, and manage commissioning documents, including test plans, system manuals, and reports.
• Conduct thorough testing and analysis of building systems, addressing and rectifying any issues identified.
• Facilitate collaboration amongst project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to guarantee system integrity and functionality.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve system performance issues, aiming to enhance system efficiency.
• Deliver training to maintenance staff and operators on system operations and upkeep.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years in commissioning and project management roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for complex system diagnostics.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong technical aptitude.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and diverse team needs.
• Effective communicator with proficiency in both verbal and written formats.
• Extensive knowledge in HVAC, Energy Management Control Systems / Building Automation Systems (BAS), including advanced control strategies.
• Registered Commissioning Agent.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Engineering background.
• Proven experience in business development and sales.
• Team-oriented with a self-driven work ethic.
• Potential leadership and supervisory abilities.

Working Conditions :

• Monday to Friday schedule, with flexible hours.
• Mainly covering projects within Missouri and Illinois, minimal travel.
• Casual dress code with a $150 clothing allowance.
