FULL TIME BENEFITS:

Experience:
- 3-5 years Institutional management and cooking experience preferred
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of kitchen and dining room operations
- Experience working with vulnerable adults is helpful
Staffing and Leadership:
- Provides leadership and training to both front and back of the house culinary team.
- Demonstrates aptitude in all culinary positions and is available to fill other shifts as needed or required.
- Enforces and ensures gluten-free safe food handling practices and procedures. Provides, ongoing gluten-free training to ensure proficiency in the workplace.
- Assists the Executive Director with all aspects of culinary department, including: hiring, firing, and promoting.
- Maintains and manages the schedule for all team members of the culinary services department.
- Make operational proposals to the Executive Director and the Corporate Director as needed.
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge; familiar with online ordering
- Train and motivate team members to follow GenCare's whole foods philosophy
- Responsible for following all policies and procedures, including; keeping in budget, documenting, maintaining and updating flow sheets, schedules, making sure kitchen is consistently clean and orderly, and ensuring safe gluten-free policies and practices are followed.
- Provides and manages all aspects of the community's food services to comply with local, state, and federal regulatory standards in accordance with company standards.

You will be trained in Gluten Free food preparation with the only fully GF accredited Senior Housing Community in the country.
