Looking for an OFFICE MANAGER position working in a FUN industry?
General Beer Northeast, a large beverage distributor in the Fox Valley area, is seeking dynamic, highly organized, hardworking detail orientated individual to fill our Office Manager position, which is responsible for the management of the office staff and supports the Sales Department and General Sales Manager.
Essential Functions include:
- Manage the work of office, customer service and support staff to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, proper procedures, correcting errors or problems.
- Responsible for all areas of staffing office personnel including training, following progressive discipline procedures and termination
- Provide employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems, and in resolving escalated complaints or disputes
- Participate and understand the work of all office personnel in order to facilitate productivity or to overcome difficult aspects of work
- Design, implement, and evaluate staff training and development programs, customer service initiatives, and performance measurement criteria.
- Analyze financial activities of department and provide input into budget planning and preparation processes.
- Maintain records pertaining to inventory, orders, supplies, and machine maintenance
- Coordinate with managers and other personnel, and with other work units or departments to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Provide support in all areas of sales reporting, maintaining and training of various forms of sales technology and assisting in budgeting and accounting for the sales department.
Qualified applicants will have advanced computer skills, extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, the ability to communicate effectively, the ability to train, coach, and develop the capabilities of others, strong time management and organizational skills, ability to take care the customers' needs while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Other requirements:
- Experience 2 to 4 years of related experience
- Education Associate's Degree
- Valid Driver's license with good driving record and proof auto insurance

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
