The IT Support Technician will be a part of the GECU IT Operations Team. They will provide Tier 1 support for all users of the credit union, providing excellent service, quick response, and efficient and complete resolution to all issues. Troubleshooting and problem resolution skills are required.
General Summary
The IT Support Technician will be a part of the GECU IT Operations Team. They will provide Tier 1 support for all users of the credit union, providing excellent service, quick response, and efficient and complete resolution to all issues. Troubleshooting and problem resolution skills are required.
Requirements: Associates degree in IT/Computer Science, Certifications, or comparable field experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to troubleshooting issues with technology are required. Experience in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows 10, are a plus.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Be a collaborative team member of the IT Department
- Provide Tier 1 support for escalated IT support issues
- Communicate with end users via phone, email, chat, ticketing, portal, etc.
- Provide desk side in-person support of technology
- Work with other members of the IT Operations group as well as the entire IT department
- Identify common problems and assist in providing proactive resolutions
- Local travel to branches in company owned vehicle
- Meet defined SLAs and provide excellent service
- Must be able to speak and understand fluent English.
