Customer Support Specialist

Job Summary:

As a member of our team this position needs to be dedicated to providing a level of exceptional service our customers have come to know and expect. Engaging with our customers, helping them solve their problems, entering their orders, and helping guide them through any questions they may have. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Talks with customers by phone, email or in person and receives orders for product.
• Enters and files orders
• Expedites orders
• Process returns for customers
• Follows up on back orders and late orders
• Solicits sale of new or additional products
• Handles customer complaints for justification on pricing, freight and miscellaneous quality issues
• Distributes literature and information as needed
• Maintains and updates quote files
• Helps with projects.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 2-5 years Customer Service experience
• Strong reading and communication skills (e-mail) and correspondence.
• Strong communications skills (verbal and telephone)
• Ability to accept direction and training
• Familiarity with common office processes, including filing, handling mailings, and accepting telephone calls.
• Computer literacy (including Windows): Data entry, typing, and basic spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Ability to follow SOP’s and procedures
• Professional attitude and ability to have conversation etiquette with external and internal customers.
• Ability to multi task
• Detail oriented
• Team player
• Strong commitment to service

Education and Experience:

• 2-5 years Customer Service experience

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
• Must have good hand/eye coordination.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
