What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at General Informatics?
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the successful delivery of new customer onboarding projects and will play a critical role in ensuring that revenue is recognized in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and will be able to apply them in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with other members of the PMO, as well as with stakeholders across the company and with external customers. They will be responsible for managing customer expectations and ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
No travel
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances, and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of progress and any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with the General Informatics team to understand customer requirements and develop project plans that meet their needs.
- Ensure that revenue is recognized in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards using the methodology as defined by the Director, PMO.
- Track project performance and report regularly on progress to internal and external stakeholders, including the Director of the PMO
- Manage project risks and issues, escalating where necessary.
- Foster strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders ensuring that their needs are understood, and their expectations are managed effectively.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in project coordination or project management in an IT environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, ConnectWise or Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
- Certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is a plus
