Maintenance Technician - General Morgan Inn

The General Morgan Inn is currently in need of a new Maintenance Technician who is looking to enjoy a friendly, professional working environment, competitive compensation and the finest training in all of Tennessee. All that is required is a friendly smile, maintenance skills and a desire to succeed.

Some of the responsibilities of the position include:

• Interacts with all hotel guests in a warm and friendly manner
• Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
• Acts as liaison between various guests, vendors and hotel staff
• Works collaboratively with other staff, managers, and resources as needed
• Provides friendly, anticipatory service to all guests and visitors
• Takes part in established Preventative Maintenance programs for hotel and restaurant
• Performs grounds keeping tasks both inside and outside of hotel toward the goal of ensuring aesthetically pleasing presentation of all public areas
• Performs various plumbing, painting, electrical and HVAC tasks as needed. Past experience and expertise in any or all of these areas is preferred
• Provides assistance with setup of Banquet tables, chairs and various other needs
• Ability to assist with and take initiative with various custodial, janitorial and general housekeeping tasks as needed
• Additional tasks and responsibilities as needed
