DIGITAL MARKETING AND CONTENT COORDINATOR NORTH
Generations Healthcare Network in Lincolnwood, Illinois provides consulting services to a consortium of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities and is seeking a Digital Marketing and Content Coordinator.
The Digital Marketing and Content Coordinator oversees digital marketing and content creations for senior living facilities and specialized mental health rehab facilities located in the north and northwest suburbs of the Chicago area and in northern Indiana.
Qualifications:
- Experience with writing engaging content for social media, websites and blog posts
- Understanding of Wordpress; assist in the management of the facilities’ websites
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices
- Experience with photography, video production and editing, Google Analytics and social media advertising a plus

- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the facilities on a regular basis
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Collaborate with individual facilities, Regional Directors, Communications Manager and Vice President for Business Development to generate, edit, publish and share content on social media to deepen engagement with current followers and acquire new followers. This includes soliciting human interest stories and quality images/video to supplement social media efforts
- Develop creative and innovative content across social media platforms that is tailored to industry specifics of independent living, skilled nursing and assisted living
- Manage the facilities’ social media accounts
- Work closely with Communications Manager to integrate and promote social media sites whenever possible into public relations efforts to encourage viral sharing of information and online engagement
- Assist in the development and management of content calendars for social media
- Assist with local media relations efforts
- Assist facilities with event planning (grand openings, open houses, etc.) by posting information about events on social media (when applicable), attending events and providing photography support in accordance with Generations Healthcare Network's policies
- Stays current on new digital/social media trends

Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college/university in Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Public Relations or related fields is preferred
- One to two years of related social media or digital media marketing experience
