Position Detail

Cloud Engineer- Dallas, TX
Location : Dallas, TX

Duration : 1 Year of contract

Job details:

• Architecture certification (Google, Amazon, Azure) from a major cloud platform.
• Multi-cloud knowledge (Azure) is a plus.
• Can work autonomously, deliver technical outcomes based on requirements from customer.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
• Has excellent communication skills to work as a lead.
• Ability to function in an agile-based environment and provide good daily feedback on team stand-up call
• Participate in code release and production deployment, have an aggressive approach to fixing bugs and defects
• Good communication skills verbal / written

Process Flows

• Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members
• Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility
• Participate in data conversion and data maintenance
• Provide best practice and industry specific solutions
• Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions
• Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.
• Participate as a team member of the functional team
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must Have

• Lead and mentor a team of SREs (Proven Experience), fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable architectures for an cloud-based applications and AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that applications are designed and built with reliability, observability, and operational excellence in mind. Defining SLA S / SLO S using SRE principles .
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact customers.
• Automate operational tasks and processes using infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient application deployments
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Large scale implementation and migration experience of Data Center to Cloud Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (Type scripting preferred, Python, Ruby, PowerShell) . IAC Terraform
• Strong foundation on cloud engineering , SRE, Operations , Microservices(docker, K8 s)
• Security mindset - good concepts on applying policies (Writing, Policy initiatives. Scope etc.) aligning with sec benchmarks and guardrails. Basic understanding of networking constructs
• Good practical Linux / Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
