Job Description



Years of Experience Required – 5 years

Degrees or certifications required - Contractor must be a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) as validation that they are an industry professional that has practical experience in business continuity and disaster recovery.

Disqualifiers – No Business Continuity experience

Best vs. Average - certified business continuity professional Business continuity, certified professional, that type of work, has some hr knowledge, risk management, HR experience, Compliance experience

Performance indicators – feedback from others, meeting deadlines, quality of work



Top 3 hard skills:

Experience in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning Skill (5 years)

Experience with Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Strategies (5 years)

Plan Development and Implementation, Business Continuity Plan Exercise, Assessment, and Maintenance experience (5 years)



We are seeking an industry professional (prerequisite Certified Business Continuity Professional - CBCP) with at least five years of significant, practical experience in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning, including subject matter expertise in Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Strategies, Plan Development and Implementation, Business Continuity Plan Exercise, Assessment, and Maintenance. Experience must have occurred within a ten-year period.



Deliverables:

-Process Flows

-Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members

-Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility

-Participate in data conversion and data maintenance

-Provide best practice and industry specific solutions

-Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions

-Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.

-Participate as a team member of the functional team

-Perform other duties as assigned.
