JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Vice President of Field Sales plans, organizes, directs, delegates and motivates the sales organization to achieve short- and long-term objectives, by spending time in the market, surveying for successes, gaining market insight and developing performance goals, and standards. This is achieved through clear communication of objectives and priorities, impactful cross functional interactions, consistent feedback, concise follow up and ongoing coaching for sales teams. Drives business results by providing thought leadership to company divisions with strong emphasis on sales growth and execution. Instills a culture of shared value, imagination, celebration, trust, accountability and a passion to win within the sales team, while upholding a work environment that fosters high engagement and retention. Must be a hands-on performer- willing and capable of building and sustaining FIFCO USA brands and to maintain industry leadership needed to ensure continued growth and profitability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sets strategic vision of commercial organization within geographic area but tied to overall strategic goals and priorities
- Capable of articulating the company’s ongoing strategic vision into sound operating business plans and processes
- Assists sales team in developing sales strategies and execution of strategies leveraging data and technology
- Works with all FIFCO USA business units to assure cooperation and accomplishment of FIFCO USA goals
- Plans, organizes, and directs the execution through data analytics of all corporate business activities to drive sales execution and gain market share against competitors
- Stay informed and updated on industry trends and leverage key relationships with organizations and industry leaders to grow the business
- Hires, trains, motivate and evaluate all sales personnel
- Defines skill levels and training needs of department
- Works with Human Resources function to develop and maintain development and succession plan for department staff
- Manages and motivates FIFCO USA wholesalers through sales team to produce maximum sales and profit objectives consistent with overall corporate objectives
- Develops and maintains relationships with key customers
- Supports the execution of the National Accounts Program
- Develop close to the market approach by working in field with wholesaler and regional sales personnel
- Actively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment
- Other duties as assigned
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position requires a robust amount of travel
- Candidate will be in the market -~40-50% of the time
- Must possess a dynamic, confident personality with the ability to successfully drive projects with minimal guidance amidst multiple priorities and goals
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Must possess a four-year Bachelor’s Degree. An MBA is a preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of senior sales experience
- A minimum of 7 years of management experience leading teams
- A minimum of 5 years in a three-tier distribution system and direct wholesaler management
- A minimum of 5 years of managerial responsibilities to demonstrate significant budget
- Significant experience leading employees and/or clients and influencing outcomes
