Job Description

Genesis10 is seeking a Tech Support Specialistfor a 12-month contract/possible perm position with a financial services client located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a hybrid opportunity.

Summary:
  • Genesis10 is currently seeking a qualified candidate who can provide Client Service - supply quality support to clients with complex transactions and processes daily.
  • Independently assists clients by responding to phone, email, and other inquiries regarding company products, services, and procedures.
  • Responds to client questions on our client's product features and provide technical assistance for issues that have been escalated by junior team members.
  • Researches and resolves moderately complex operational or client issues.
  • Routes issues that cannot be addressed at the point of contact to the appropriate team, in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Assists in providing status updates on problem resolution and outstanding issues to other teams.
  • Assists with process improvement by contributing ideas to improve team efficiency.
  • Provides guidance to less experienced staff. Responsible for the quality and completion of own work.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides support to all IT-related activities and initiatives using established procedures, including guidance, assistance, coordination, and follow-up on straightforward IT problems and ensures resolution.
  • Provides local smart hands capability and maintains management of End-user Assets.
  • Provides IT/Desktop support services including frontline subject matter expertise to employees to ensure that all service levels are achieved, and local and organizational changes are supported including the provision of established procedures, including guidance, assistance, coordination, and follow-up on straightforward IT problems and ensures resolution and smart hands activity.
  • Supports the onboarding and implementation of new products and services and supports end-user engagement and education of technology services.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the organization's tracking of end-user assets and responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues.
  • To understand the configuration and functionality of site technology (including any space where technology is consumed)
  • To have basic troubleshooting knowledge to support the primary products and services used by the end-user employee base.
  • Working knowledge of diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues, Internet connectivity, and Microsoft operating systems and Office suite.
  • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or 2 years' experience in a Tech Help Desk support capacity in lieu of a degree.
  • Flexible support hours between 8:30 am 8:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Possible on-call support over weekends.
  • The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
  • Have good problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to come into the Pittsburgh office.
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as New Journey/Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp to corp)

Range: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour.
