Job Summary of Service Technician: Due to organic growth Gengras Motor Carsis presently looking for experienced Automotive Technicians / Mechanics for multiple stores. We havebusy, clean well-run shops. Many of our shops havebeen #1in their market, #2 in new England and top 10 % in the Eastern Region.
Sign-on-bonus up to 10K based on experience!

Automotive Technician / Mechanic Job Responsibilities:
- Automotive technicians / mechanics perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- We run a busy, clean, productive shop with a team environment and factory training
- Automotive Technicians / Mechanics diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
- Automotive technicians / Mechanics provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
- Automotive Technician / Mechanic explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology
- Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made
- High-line experience preferred
Qualifications
Job Requirements for Automotive Technician / Mechanic:
- Must have experience as an Automotive Technician/ Mechanic
- Must be willing to invest and grow in your chosen profession
- Continue to engage in mandatory paid training
- Posses a valid drivers license
