Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting with their medical needs.
Pay Details
36 Hrs./Wk.= $1702 Per week
Hourly Pay = $47.28hr.
Weekly Taxable:$540Per week
weekly travel stipend: $1162 Per Week
OT Rate:$54.78/hr.
Responsibilities:
Shift: 12 Hour Variable
Duration:13 weeks
12 hours a day
36 hours per week.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Perform basic nursing procedures such as wound care, catheter care, and dressing changes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and self-care techniques
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (Cerner, Athenahealth) to maintain accurate patient records
- Collect laboratory specimens and perform venipuncture as needed
- Assist with medical-surgical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during challenging times
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in [state]
- Proven experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in internal medicine or medical-surgical units
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and acute pain management
- Familiarity with neonatal ventilators is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
