*Physical Therapist needed in Hayesville , NC**Contract : 13 weeks**shift : 8hrs Days**Gross weekly :$1946**stipend weekly :$1246**Taxable pay weekly :$700**Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home health environments. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to assist patients in their rehabilitation journey.

*Duties*- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries.

• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising physical therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in acute care settings, geriatrics, hospital medicine, and skilled nursing facilities.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions.

*Experience*- Previous experience in outpatient settings or acute care is preferred but not required.

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential for effective patient care.
• Experience working with geriatric populations or in home health environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation techniques used in skilled nursing facilities is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
