Your Role Gensler San Jose is seeking a creative, collaborative, experienced professional to join our office as Marketing Manager. Marketing at Gensler is a communications-based discipline that requires a passion for storytelling and the strategic acumen to guide business development efforts. Gensler San Jose’s new marketing manager will be a vital member of the office, working directly with leadership and partnering with studio directors to pursue new business, while leading and mentoring a local team. All Gensler communicators are creative marketers with a passion for design and a strong commitment to internal client service. The ideal candidate will bring a superior strategic outlook and “make it happen” leadership skills, along with impeccable organization and project management. The marketing manager position requires an excellent communicator with experience in business development strategy and managing a team. San Jose’s new marketing manager will lead a local marketing team, working together to produce materials in support Gensler’s business development efforts, including writing and designing proposals, presentations, and other collateral. The marketing manager will also work closely with the Bay Area PR Team on local communications and PR efforts and will join a tight-knit regional group of over 25 marketers, PR professionals, writers, graphics designers, and communicators. A key source of knowledge and leadership for business development and communications opportunities, the marketing manager will lead the department logistics, including staffing, knowledge management, opportunity tracking and reporting, and CRM efforts.
