Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager in the NYC metropolitan area. The role involves overseeing sales operations, managing a sales team, driving business development, and ensuring excellent customer service on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Meets and exceeds revenue goals by developing new accounts and relationships.
- Effectively move share from competitors to the three hotels, achieving and exceeding RevPAR index goals.
- Actively solicit business via phone, telemarketing, cold calls, warm calls, e-commerce, site visits, etc.
- Work closely with the Regional Director of Sales and Director of Revenue Management on strategies to move market share
- Ensure systems are established and in place to respond to customer needs within a defined response period. These may include, but are not limited to: telephone inquiries, bids, proposals, confirmation of bookings, thank you letters, follow up letters, etc.
- Development and implementation of SMART Plans for assigned market segments. Monitor results and progress during weekly one-on-one meetings.
- Manage accounts to achieve collective Genuine Hospitality guest satisfaction targets.
- Although minimal, prepare status and period end reports.
Pay
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
