Job Description
Coordinates daily cycle count schedule with the other DC functions.
ResponsibilitiesThe following section contains the primary responsibilities for this position. Job holder is responsible for performing any other duties as assigned by management. - Cycle Counting
- Oversee cycle count team
- Complete warehouse count every 90 days
- Manage large variances
- Task Counting
- Monitor task counts for all shifts
- Manage large variances
- Inventory Management
- Manage “received not put away” from Receiving and Customer Returns
- Direct put away
- Inventory Accuracy
- Investigate inventory inaccuracies
- Spot count 20 each SKU’s per week for accuracy
- Manage the Floor (backup)
- Monitor cage / wave activity
- Walk the warehouse floor
- Manage the shipping lanes
- Check order fill / short picks
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
- 6 months prior work experience.
- Requires demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and work with a minimum of supervision.
- Enjoys working with people in a fast-paced setting; is competitive yet has the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Insures proper maintenance and protection of Company facilities, equipment, inventory and other physical assets of the Company.
- Possesses a willingness and ability to learn.
- Possesses analytical problem solving skills.
