Why work for us?
At Genus Services we take a people first approach in all aspects. It may be your job to put your residents first, but it's our job as a company to put you first. We want to give you the tools to be great, to grow, and to enjoy your job. An environment makes all the difference at work, and we want ours to be supportive, and welcoming. What started out as three college kids working in a group home has turned into a vibrant company led by a person who knows and cares about his people. This company is managed by people who all started as direct support staff who loved what they did and who they worked for, and were developed into our astounding management team. They come with an understanding of what it's like to be in every position, and are always willing to listen to ideas and concerns with an open door policy. The culture that caring has created in this company is unmatched to any other. From team meetings and morning coffee, company parties and celebrations with giveaways, to cheering you on in your personal successes and being there in any way we can when you need extra support (because at some point we all do). We believe at our core that if our intentions are right, we take accountability, work collaboratively by utilizing each individual's unique strengths, and continue to add people that we value and care about, that our team can only get stronger, and our company only better.
