Job Duties:
- Defines, deploys, and embeds an end-to-end process approach that simplifies, standardizes, and automates our processes for superior performance and establish centers of excellence
- Ensures the effective application of problem-solving techniques from root cause analysis to the implementation and sustainability of corrective and preventive actions driving continuous improvement, operational KPIs, and centers of excellence
- Establishes governance to ensuring effective cross functional alignment and sponsorship on end-to-end process definition, design, measurement, and continuous improvement
- Act as champion and visionary across the business and serving as an expert and thought leader with an understanding of leading practice in process improvement excellence
- Researches and implements new tools to aid in resolving complex process issues, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Other duties as required and assigned
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering from a 4 year college or university
- Minimum 12 years experience related experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in freight forwarding is preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Preferred, PMP certification preferred
Essential Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions.
