Job Summary: The HR Admin and Training Coordinator will be responsible for several related support functions within the Human Resources team as well as the coordination of internal training. This includes ensuring quality assimilation of new hires, supporting the admin/reception, creating corporate training and development activities which includes Internship program initiatives and Apprenticeship programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide back-up support for HR, Recruiting and Admin teams
Monitors the HR inbox, answering any employee inquiries
Reviews, conducts, and updates onboarding and all programs associated with new hire training
Prepare learning materials needed
Assign training tasks, oversee training activities and tracking training participation
Maintains the learning management system
When assigned, attend job and career fairs, virtually or in person
Assist Recruiters and Hiring Managers with the hiring process
Facilitate coordination of All Hands meetings and Quarterly Town Halls
Representing HR Team in Inclusion Committee and Culture Crew projects, events, and newsletters
Oversees the Buddy Program
Organize meetings and takes minutes as needed
Aid in the Request for Proposal process as needed
Work with external vendors for HR products
Other duties as directed
Requirements:
Work Experience / Knowledge:
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Exceptional organizational skills including the ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize work
Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with all levels in the organization
Ability to manage, protect, and maintain confidential information
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Committed and dependable
Knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint
Proficient in Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, and Teams
Qualifications / Certifications:
BS degree in training, HR, education, or related field
Minimum 2 years in human resources support or training experience preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
Special Requirements:
