Job Summary Plan and direct the Infrastructure & Sustainability (l&S) organization Move Management. Material Management, Staging and Zero Waste Management departments in ways that result in the excellent customer service and cost-efficient sustainable operations. Responsible for setting group and employee goals. assessing performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations.
This position will interact on a regular basis with staff in Infrastructure & Sustainability as well as staff from academic research providing leadership for Move Management. Staging. Material Management and Zero Waste Management
This position will advise and counsel: Faculty, staff, and I&S Leadership and Personnel.

Responsibilities *Job Duty 1 - *
Development of staging strategies, timelines, budgets, and project plans for furniture/equipment moves and event set up and breakdowns and manage the Zero Waste Removal contract.
*Job Duty 2 - *
Plan and direct the activities of Logistic & Material Operations, Sustainability and Waste reduction initiative. Supervise personnel, monitor performance, and provide guidance.
*Job Duty 3 - *
Conduct reviews of supplies, equipment, tables and chairs along with Move Management activities to maintain orderly operations. Educate the department through outreach programs on being good stewards of the Earth.
*Job Duty 4 - *
Represent Office of Zero Waste Management and Recycling (OZWM&R) in meetings, present reports, correspondence and other documentation regarding Logistic & Material Operations performance and issues.
*Job Duty 5 - *
Work with Campus Fraternity & Sorority Life department to educate on sustainability and enforce compliance regarding policies, procedures, and memorandum of understanding
*Job Duty 6 - *
Evaluate and forecast staffing needs and execute strategic plans of Georgia Tech and provide input to budget for covering Logistic & Material Operations cost

Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications *Educational Requirements*
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, technical diplomas, and experience
*Required Experience*
Eight to ten years of job-related experience

Five or more years of logistics & management experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities *ABILITIES*
Ability to gather and analyze data and communicate the impact of such data. Ability to work successfully in a collaborative team environment. Ability to graphically represent programmatic spatial intent; ability to physically conduct space audits and to update space management data in systems of record. Ability to consistently complete and bring closure to multiple projects and work-related duties; ability to maintain a team-work mindset in daily activities within the department and with other departments and groups throughout a diverse network of campus-related environments.
*KNOWLEDGE*
Knowledge of Tableau, AutoCAD, Revit, GIS and Microsoft office software applications. Knowledge of hazardous materials handling, warehousing and stock handling and storage, distribution methods.
*SKILLS*
Excellent listening skills, effective verbal and written communications skills
