The company has grown PUPI® into the leading global provider of fiberglass crossarms and is committed to adding and developing other market-leading composite brands for the world’s infrastructure. The company was founded in 1990 to manufacture and market Common Sense Fencing and other pultruded fiberglass products. Early on GEOTEK also began producing utility composite crossarms for Pultruded Utility Products, Inc., a company it acquired in 2000 and renamed Pultruded Utility Products International (PUPI) to reflect the global opportunity for these products. PUPI (pronounced “puppy”) is a brand of GEOTEK. Using proprietary processes and several patented inventions, GEOTEK manufactures and distributes engineered fiberglass composites that are used by the transmission and distribution power lines and substations. The company is well positioned for sustained growth and profitability through market expansion and new product offerings.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Manages the recruiting, interviewing, and on boarding for hourly manufacturing positions; directs the flow within the recruiting team.
- Owns the interview process (resume screens, phone screens, onsite interviews, offers, and hiring decisions)
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, etc.
- Ensures the staffing needs of the company are being met, using research and creativity to meet current needs, with a long-term approach in mind.
- Devises sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential and future applicants.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Works with HR team & Wellness Committee to effectively promote internal programs and resources for optimal engagement and utilization of wellness initiatives.
- Hybrid potential: 3 days onsite required.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- At least 2 years’ experience in recruitment, staffing, PR, or brand management
- Knowledge of recruitment marketing strategies and employer branding
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and good negotiation tactics
- Experience with social media advertising platforms, including LinkedIn and Facebook
- Candidate outreach/ “headhunting” experience is strongly preferred.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative and be creative.
- While walking on production floor there will be fumes and chemicals.
- Office work requires sitting at a desk, using a computer and phone.
