What you will do
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Paralegal to join our Contracts team. This role offers a unique opportunity to advance your paralegal career while maintaining a flexible, part-time schedule.
As a key member of our legal department, you will work closely with our experienced Senior Paralegal, gaining hands-on experience in corporate legalities, entity management and corporate governance while ensuring our company remains compliant with all regulations and standards.
- Assist with the preparation, review, and management of contracts and other legal documents
- Support corporate governance activities, including drafting and maintaining corporate records, minutes, and resolutions
- Aid in the management of corporate entities, including formation, dissolution, and ongoing compliance requirements
- Collaborate with the Senior Paralegal and other team members to ensure legal compliance and best practices
- Organize and maintain corporate legal files and documents
What you should bring
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies from an ABA accredited institution
- 3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably with a focus on contract law
- Experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm is preferred
- Strong understanding of contract law and corporate legalities, knowledge of corporate governance and entity management
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and legal documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools
- Familiarity with legal document management systems and database
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with team members, clients, and external parties
