Gerharz Restaurant Equipment & Supplies is a full service provider of restaurant design, equipment, supplies, and parts to all segments of the foodservice industry in Central New York and the Continental US.
We currently have an opening for an A/R Specialist in our Accounting Department. Our team is looking to continue its success by adding the right self-motivated, smart, enthusiastic, and customer service oriented individual.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Customer Invoicing
· Must be comfortable making collection calls
· Daily deposits/posting payments to customer accounts
· Credit and debit memo processing
· Monthly statements
· Answering phones
· Filing
· Cash/CC/POS processing
· General admin/office tasks
Necessary Abilities/Attributes Include:
· Good with numbers
· Positive, friendly attitude
· Able to work as part of a team and independently
· Problem solving
· Confident
· Able to multi-task in a very busy office setting
· Time management
· Customer service oriented
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
· Experience with Accounting/Inventory software
Benefits
The Accounting Department is a small 5-7 person professional office within a 45-50 person company. We are open Monday through Friday 8:30 – 5:00.
This is a full time hourly position.
