Summary of Duties:
As an Auditor, you will work alongside internal departments and external stakeholders to protect the interests of German American Bank customers, employees, and stockholders.
What You'll Do:
Day in the Life – Every day you will assist in the risk mitigation process by walking through processes with business lines, testing effectiveness of identified controls, and communicating results to business leaders. You will work with a team of auditors to execute the annual audit plan and be a resource for business line leaders.
What it Takes – To thrive in this role, you must be resourceful, a critical thinker, results oriented, and self-motivated. You have demonstrated your ability to plan and organize, ask probing questions, receive and share feedback, and communicate clearly. Candidates for this role must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related area or a minimum of 3 years of banking experience. This role requires commitment to ongoing learning, including obtaining industry specific certification throughout your career.
