Our client is Diamond Event Center and Diamond Catering is a longstanding community leader in the event and catering industry. Our banquet facility is one of the few in the area that offers full service 450 seating in three well-appointed ballroom options. Our catering menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering food options for all occasions whether in our facility or offsite.
Our guests’ satisfaction is achieved through building a relationship with each client, exceptional guest experience, and a talented team ready to deliver a memorable event.
Our compensation for this position is based on a draw against the commission and the bonus program is based on exceeding thrill goals.
Compensation:$15 - $16 hourly
Responsibilities:- Grow customer loyalty while also generating new business by nurturing long-term relationships
- Actively seek new business using marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other methods
- Meet/exceed sales goals
- Prepare accurate and complete sales reports and KPI's documenting weekly activity, bookings, and billings.
- Attend weekly sales meetings
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- High diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing or hospitality
- Minimum of 2 years or more experience in sales and marketing
