Qualifications
We've teamed up with various school districts throughout the United States in search of compassionate and dedicated educators to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing. We're currently seeking candidates for the following position:
A Master's Degree in Education with a specialization in Teaching Deaf Students
Active certification in Deaf Education issued by the State of New Hampshire
Minimum Of Two Years Of Teaching Experience
Virtual teaching experience is advantageous
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is desirable, though not mandatory
Position Responsibilities
Develop annual goals for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Conduct comprehensive reevaluation reports on communication assessments
Regularly assess students' progress and adapt instructional approaches accordingly
Provide guidance and training to parents and stakeholders on supporting deaf or hard of hearing students
Collaborate with fellow educators and school staff to ensure accessible instructional materials and environments
Additional Requirements For Virtual Roles
Comfortable working as an independent contractor (1099)
Successfully pass basic tech screening
Must possess liability insurance and be comfortable with independent contractor status
Equipped with a home computer and high-speed internet connection
