Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. As a Lead Scrum Master, you will guide and mentor our Scrum teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Scrum framework is followed, facilitating communication and collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Agile Subject Matter Expert and ensure the Agile mindset and framework are integrated into each team's work.
- Manage software and technology projects using agile development practices.
- Coach team members unfamiliar with the SAFe Agile framework.
- Assist and coach Product Owners.
- Adapt to a constantly changing work environment with exceptional critical thinking skills.
- Determine team capacity and velocity.
- Participate in and lead PI planning.
- Understand user stories and prioritize them in the software backlog.
- Lead Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective activities.
- Facilitate daily standup meetings, involving software development teams, technology experts, and Product Owners to implement successful software strategies.
- Lead Agile transformation by identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance team productivity.
- Monitor team performance metrics and provide insights for improvement.
- Promote a collaborative, transparent environment to enhance team performance and foster continuous improvement.
- Act as a liaison between the Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure the Scrum framework is implemented effectively.
- Remove impediments and protect the team from external disruptions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- PMP certification.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring multiple Scrum teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
- Leadership experience in an Agile environment.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to facilitate conflict resolution and foster a collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and other Agile tools.
- Additional Agile certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe) are a plus.
