Position Summary
The company is currently seeking a talented Material Planning Analyst to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in executing material program plans to support production. Acting as a liaison between production, configuration management, and the supply chain, you will ensure seamless coordination to meet scheduling and forecasting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update material masters across various programs.
- Strategically release purchase requisitions to procurement to support production and testing.
- Monitor and report on inventory and schedule performance.
- Assist in managing program material risk registers and develop effective mitigation plans.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with suitable suppliers and alternates within key industries.
- Ensure compliance of purchase requisitions with contract, quality, and program requirements.
- Support business development and program management in developing material positions for proposals.
- Develop spending plans and forecasts for invoicing.
- Evaluate both single source and competitive bids.
- Report and present material positions to the company leadership.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in production material planning and forecasting for Space or Aerospace industries.
- Proficiency in financial planning and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities effectively.
- Strong workload management and execution skills.
- Ability to work independently within a collaborative, supportive development environment.
- Active US Government Security Clearance or ability to obtain one. Current SSBI preferred.
- Experience working with and maintaining Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP).
Desired Skills/Qualifications
- Direct experience in adjacent Space Mission Assurance processes and policies.
- Proven track record of leading teams and supporting business growth.
- Strong understanding and experience in ERP System use and management.
