ONSITE POSITION Reporting to the Training Manager, the Trainer is responsible for the New Hire Training Program for all personnel supporting a particular business unit. The Trainer is responsible for teaching and validating new hires’ requisite skills, understanding and behaviors prior to any on the job training. The Trainer is also responsible for any necessary on-going and enhancement training, client specific training, as well as any specialized ad hoc training projects.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine progress and qualifications of new hires for completion of new hire training program, ensuring employees are meeting the attendance, performance, and behavioral criteria for success
- Responsible for developing training content relevant to a diverse group of employees and skill sets
- Facilitate the delivery of training to new employees and current staff via in-person classroom setting and/or virtual settings
- Evaluate overall staff performance and validate training is meeting business needs
- Remain up to date on developments within the industry and within GetixHealth clients
- Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training employees
- Schedule and conduct meetings with Management to proactively identify topics to be addressed or areas in-need of additional instruction
- Working knowledge of Protected Health Information (PHI), and HIPAA
- Review and audit accounts for accuracy
- Provide feedback to representatives and management on errors and trends identified
- Assist in retraining of staff to decrease and eliminate errors
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in (preferably within the healthcare industry) creating and conducting training programs within a business unit setting required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong working knowledge of Artiva, Getix Softpro, EPIC or other healthcare related software systems
- Broad knowledge of patient eligibility processes and procedures
- Familiar with State and Federal insurance (Medicaid and Medicare)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with employees, healthcare providers, patients, and company leadership
- Must have a dynamic and engaging classroom presence
- Strong PC skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service
- Strong, proven ability to organize and prioritize in a rapidly changing, fast paced work environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work to meet assigned deadlines
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and be open to considering new approaches to solving problems and work processes
- Strong understanding and sensitivity to confidential matters
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

- Ability to work independently on assigned projects, as well as accept direction when needed
- Willing to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work environment is a standard business office
- The position requires the dexterity to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone
- Occasional lifting may be required up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to stand and lecture for extended periods of time, as well as sit with frequent bending and stooping
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS · Must be willing and able to travel to client/company locations at times. Travel would be throughout North America up to 10% of the time.
