Cashier

Getti's Island Spyce Res in Bowie, MD is looking for one cashier to join our 17 person strong team. We are located on 3548 Crain Highway. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable.

Responsibilities

*Greet customers entering and leaving the business *Maintain a clean and tidy work area *Accurately process all cash and credit payments *Provide exceptional customer service

Job

*Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or recommendations. *Operating scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics. *Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales. *Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer. *Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints. *Bagging or wrapping purchases to ensure safe transport. *Following all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or the purchase of specific items, such as alcohol or cigarettes. *Maintaining a clean workspace. *Assist co-worker in work place. *Customer service or Cashier experience. *Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly. *High level of energy with strong customer service skills. *Basic math and computer skills. *Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service. *Attention to detail. *Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints. *Always clean up the register area and in front *Repack fridge with beverages and cakes *Assist in the back house when work is slow *Learned to be well round in the front and back if need be *Help share food if have too *Serve patties and coco bread

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $9.75 - $16.00/hour.
