Technical CAD Designer
Due to the growing market in the US market, we are looking for a Technical CAD designer who can help take care of our growing market in the US and at det same time assist us on site in new set-up for production and operations.
Position
Geveko Markings is looking for a Technical CAD designer who proactively and independent can handle design and drawing for our US Market, which is continuously growing.
Together with the rest of the Global Design Studio, you will be responsible for drawing support for Quotes, Sales, Warehouse, Production, Logistics mainly for the US market.
Our production facility in Gainesville opened on March 1st. 2020 and is expanding.
For our new Technical CAD Designer to be up and running and possess the required knowledge about our business and processes, we want you to come on board as soon as possible.
We are looking for a candidate, who is motivated to be part of the growth journey, Geveko Markings is on, with the growing expansion in the US factory.
Areas of responsibility
Your main responsibility will be to act as Global Design Studios local support for the US market together with our CAD specialist. This means, that you will be responsible for local drawing support for: Quotes, Sales, Warehouse, Production, Logistics.
Tasks
- Assist in the implementing of new design processes.
- Provide drawings and support for production across the firm. Mainly US but other entities may also be relevant in time.
- Production drawing optimizing.
- Assist with implementation of Dynamics 365fo optimizing for Design Studio.
The role as Technical CAD designer reports directly to Head of Group Design studio based in Denmark. The role as Technical CAD designer is a part of our Global business Team.
You will be part of a successful implementation of Design Studio US and gain good knowledge in drawing procedures in AutoCAD, Radan, D365fo modules and database structure. You will also be a strong supporter for the US entity.

The Ideal Candidate
Required qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of IT systems
- Fluent in English - both verbally and in writing.
- Holds relevant degree with technical drawings, such as AutoCAD or other.
- Is within driving distance from Gainesville, Atlanta, GA.
- Experience in CAD Drawing
- Experience with manufacturing operations in a production company.
- Knowledge of Business processes – Quotes, Sales, Purchase, Production, Logistic.
