Job Summary:
The Senior Process Engineer develops and modifies process formulations, methods, and controls to meet quality standards. This role involves recommending and implementing improvements, modifications, or additions to document work and reviewing product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods. The engineer integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology target specifications, working independently with minimal supervision.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in process engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding and application of procedures and concepts within the discipline.
- Attention to detail and the ability to make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information.
- Ability to work independently and apply professional expertise with minimal supervision.
Job Duties:
- Develop and modify process formulations, methods, and controls to meet quality standards.
- Recommend and implement improvements, modifications, or additions to document work.
- Review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules.
- Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specifications.
- Utilize judgment in applying professional expertise as an individual contributor.
Term and Start
- 12-month contract
- On-site in Cary, Illinois
- Pay rate: $46-48/HR
- 1st shift 8AM-5PM M-F
