JOB SUMMARY: The primary purpose and function of the Operations Cost Analyst position is to provide the support necessary to ensure the administrative needs of the Operations Department with regard to document auditing, processing and supporting the Operations Administrative Director. The position demands an individual with impeccable documentation control abilities, as well as excellent communication abilities (both oral and written). Part-time (20-25 hours per week).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

§ First and foremost, maintains a high level of accuracy and detail in all tasks.

§ Reading and cross-referencing reports

§ Data entry and audit

§ Assisting with data analysis

§ Manage multiple projects and deadlines

§ Works effectively with members of the operations team and other teams within the company to support one another, as well as to increase our collective communication and collaboration.

§ Maintain confidentiality of work in progress and privileged financial information required to complete assigned tasks.

SOFTWARE USE

Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook, Viewpoint Spectrum

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND/OR EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS

2 years of related experience preferred, or working towards a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university with a major in Business, Finance and/or Construction Management. The position demands an individual with impeccable documentation control credentials. Must have strong written and oral communications.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Pre-employment background screening investigation results that are acceptable to GCC at GCC’s sole discretion.

§ Drug/alcohol test (negative test results).

§ Background/security clearance.

§ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

MENTAL DEMANDS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as cost reports, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to apply mathematical concepts. Ability to define and document problems, collect data, and establish facts.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
