What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Analyst position at GHX Industrial?
GHX, a SunSource company is the leader in providing solutions to static sealing (gaskets) and fluid transfer (hoses) with top quality fabrication, capabilities and programs tailored to help out customers in reducing downtime and increasing throughput. With 51 locations across North America, we inventory a wide range of gasket materials, hoses, fittings, textiles, and expansion joints. GHX is able to cover a broad spectrum of applications for the industries we serve.
We are looking for an energetic and ambitious Billing Analyst that works independently entering data and collaboratively with the Billing Specialist to input billing information into a third party portal. Applicant would be part of a 5 person team reporting to the Credit Manager. Specifically you must be able to:
- Learn to operate and obtain reporting from various third party customer portals to assess/track the status of invoices
- Entering invoices into portals
- Interact with credit, branch sales / service personnel by phone / email to communicate customer issues and assist in gathering and providing info to customer.
- Other special projects as assigned
The qualified individual will have the following education and other skills:
- Associates degree preferred
- Strong Data entry and typing skills and experience preferred
- Excellent customer service, communication and analytical skills
- Must be detail oriented, with the ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written, initiative, organization, tasks prioritization and utilize time efficiently required
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required; Prophet 21 (P21) experience a plus
