Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Position purpose
The Director of Revenue Cycle is responsible for all Revenue Cycle functions in support of the company mission, vision and goals. The Director establishes effective working relationships with all associated stakeholders internal and external. This position identifies and remedies issues and concerns through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. Ensures policies and procedures are monitored and updated to include regulatory changes.

- Ensure efficient operations of physician practice management billing
- Maintain a system of key performance indicators and encourage continuous quality improvement and corrective action regarding revenue cycle departmental operations
- Assure compliance with all regulatory agencies
- Develop initiative to increase operational rigor, adopt industry best practices, and improve standardization of work processes
- Assist human resources in determining staffing ratios to ensure adequate staffing resources to maximize billing and collections
- Utilize data driven metrics to optimize financial performance
- Promote collaboration and communication among employees and physician office staff to address strategic challenges
- Build and oversee high-performing teams with an orientation toward results and aligned around GI Alliance / TGIAs mission, vision and values
- Interact regularly with executive team and individual department heads to ensure operational priorities are met
- Understand and apply disciplined root-cause analysis and conduct detailed monthly operations reviews that are dependent on key metrics to ensure fast, steady progress in operations performance and improvements
- Manage subordinate management team including optimizing core competencies and skill sets
- Provide assistance with mergers and acquisitions of new physicians & physician practices
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Performance Requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, and ICD-10 codes preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products- ability to create and build spreadsheets in Excel
- Demonstrates competence in management and leadership skills to develop and implement organizational strategies and opportunities for improving company growth.
- Maintain current knowledge and adhere to appropriate regulatory standards such as Medicare.
- Ability to analyze data and develop systems to accurately control financial activity within a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient technical (computer) skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Self-motivated with initiative.
- Strong sense of ethics.
- Ability to manage conflict and resolve problems.
