Entry Level Grocery Retail Management- Deli

Responsibilities:

• Assist the store manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the your department

Oversee the inventory management, including stock replenishment, ordering, and receiving

Maintain product displays and ensure merchandise is properly stocked and visually appealing

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly

Train and supervise a team of retail associates, including scheduling, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment

Implement and maintain store policies, procedures, and safety standards

Collaborate with the store manager to achieve sales targets and financial objectives

Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer preferences to optimize product offerings and maximize profitability

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities

Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Proficient in using technology and point-of-sale systems

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
