Public Works Employee

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Public Works Employee to join our team. As a Public Works Employee, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and upkeep of public infrastructure. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
- Assist in the construction, repair, and maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and other public infrastructure
- Operate and maintain equipment such as trucks, tractors, mowers, and power tools
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning streets, clearing debris, and repairing signs
- Assist with snow removal operations during winter months
- Respond to service requests and address public concerns in a professional manner
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate various types of equipment and machinery
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Pay: $22.22 - $28.00 per hour
