Position Overview:
As a Family Law Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients on various family law matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their legal issues, understand their objectives, and provide legal advice and guidance tailored to their specific situation.
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support, adoption, paternity, domestic violence, and other related issues.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research to analyze relevant statutes, case law, and legal precedent to develop effective legal strategies and arguments for client representation.
- Document Preparation: Draft legal documents, including petitions, complaints, motions, pleadings, settlement agreements, and court orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Court Representation: Represent clients in family court proceedings, hearings, and trials, presenting evidence, making legal arguments, and advocating for client interests.
