Security Guard (School Security Aide)

The J. Harvey Rodgers School (Preschool/Kindergarten) is currently seeking a Security Guard for the 2024-2025 School Year.


Note - This is a ten-month position (September-June)


Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining rules and regulations
  • Ensuring building entrances remain locked and doors un-propped at all times
  • Performing periodic safety checks throughout the halls
  • Provide continual monitoring of the halls during the course of the shift
  • Check-in visitors, facilitate student pick-ups, and accept deliveries

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; some experience in working with children
  • Previous experience in the field of security is preferred.
  • High interpersonal relationship skills in dealing with fellow professionals, students, and parents
  • Successful Completion of Fingerprinting and Criminal History Review Process
