About the Role
The Compensation Intern will assist and support the Compensation department in the execution of compensation related tasks, special projects, and process documentation. This individual will also be involved in submitting salary surveys company wide and benchmarking roles into the current market.
In this role, you will learn compensation best practices covering base pay, variable pay, and equity compensation. You will also learn about the methodology around pay mix for different roles, compensation principles and how it ties into total rewards as a function.
Hourly pay rate: $25.00/hr
What You’ll Do
- Partner with compensation leader to help document and communicate Glassdoor’s current compensation philosophies, processes, and procedures
- Analyze and assist in deployment of company-wide salary survey through internal survey management tool
- Assist in benchmarking new and existing positions and roles to market externally
- Support all internal and external compensation related inquiries or requests via ticketing system
- Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks such as submitting vendor invoices and purchase orders as necessary
