Registered Nurse (RN)

GLC On-The Go is seeking a RN-LTC Supervisor to work a contract at a Long-Term Care Facility in Lowville, New York!

RN Pay Package

• 13 week contract
• Pay: $56 hourly / $90 OT / $1,162 Stipend
• $3,178 weekly gross based on 36hrs
• Evening Shift
• 36 hrs guaranteed

Requirements:

• Must have a valid and current License in the state you are applying for
• Must have 1 year experience in the setting applying for
• Active BLS/CPR Certification (in person for some facilities)
• Must have Covid Vaccination or exemption where applicable

Job Duties:

• Assessing, observing, and speaking to patients
• Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health
• Preparing patients for exams and treatments
• Administering medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions
• Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with medical team
• Performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging them
• Assisting in medical procedures as needed
• Drawing blood, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work
• Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions
• Supervising licensed practical and vocational nurses, nursing assistants, and nursing students
• Entering proper documentation into facility specific EMR computer systems
• Maintains work operations by following facility policies and procedures
• Follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
• Maintain strict resident and employee confidentiality in compliance with HIPPAA guidelines
