What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counter Sales Associate position at Glen-Gery Corporation?
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
- Help walk in customers make brick, stone and landscape selections.
- Place orders/quotes in NetSuite and release orders for delivery when requested.
- Check on scheduled deliveries, send out information to our customers as needed.
- Must be willing to take online training courses and attend vendor offsite training, would at times require an overnight stay.
- Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability.
- Answer questions over the phone in regard to brick/material/hardscape products availability and pricing.
- Call plants to check availably for customers or salesperson.
- Support the sales team.
- Help maintain a clean, neat, organized, and efficient showroom/office area.
- Order Brick, stone and landscape samples as need to replenish sample room or at customers request.
- Must put away samples as they arrive from vendors and call customers that maybe waiting on them.
- Order needed brochures from all vendors, mark and put away in an organized manner.
- Follow up on their orders with customers as needed,
- Other duties, as assigned.

Education/Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of sales and or customer service experience.
- High School Degree or GED required
