Weaver I

Glen Raven Custom Fabrics, a global leading manufacture of performance fabrics, is currently seeking a Weaver I. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of weaving machines. The weaving process interlaces two yarns of similar materials so that they cross each other at right angles to produce woven fabric. The warp yarns run lengthwise in the fabric and the filling yarns run from side to side. Weaving experience or 5 years manufacturing experience required.

** The hours for this job are, Monday - Friday 4pm-12am or 12am -8am at a pay rate of $18.98 per hour ** Plus $1.00 for night shift premium

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic problem-solving skills throughout your shift
• Setup and operate the creel machine to company standards
• Review and interpret machine efficiency data throughout your shift
• Complete quality paperwork

Experience:

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous machine operating experience preferred
