Position: IT Technician - Onsite
Location: 6545 W. Pueblo Ct. Wichita, KS 67209
Schedule: 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday
Hourly Rate: $20-$26 hourly (based on experience) plus competitive benefits
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our team. The IT Technician will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to our employees, ensuring their hardware and software systems are operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to resolving IT issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees on-site, troubleshooting hardware and software problems
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, routers, and other IT equipment
- Set up new workstations and assist with employee onboarding processes
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems to ensure optimal performance
- Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner
- Assist with network administration tasks, such as user account management and security measures
- Keep accurate records of IT incidents and resolutions
- Provide training to employees on IT systems and best practices
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies
Qualifications:
- A degree in IT or a related field preferred
- Proven experience working in a similar IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with a variety of software applications and networking protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
