Job Responsibilities: Mid-Level Subcontracts Administrator
- Negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements
- Preparation of Request for Proposals/Quote packages.
- Performing comprehensive Price Analyses and/or Cost Analyses
- Negotiating Subcontractor, Supplier, Vendor pricing, deliverables, schedule and Terms & Conditions.
- Issuance of a variety of procurement actions (Purchase Orders, Consultant Agreements, Subcontracts,
- ATP, Modifications, etc.).
- Support various Federal Compliance Audits (CPSR, Pre/Post Award, etc.)
- Tracking POs/Subcontracts within procurement system.
- Perform close-out actions of all Subcontracts, Consultant and Purchase Orders
Qualifications:
- B.S. / B.A. Majors: Business Administration, Business Management, Contract Administration, Supply Chain Management or Business Law.
- 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing/subcontracts
- Strong knowledge of Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements to support certification of purchasing system.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
- Strong understanding of contract/Purchase Order terms and conditions and detailed knowledge of the government contracting process including sole source and competitive procurements
- Comprehensive knowledge of the terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.) and their proper use
Required Skills
- Possess sound reasoning skills and the ability to interpret policies and government regulations in day-to-day activities.
- Effective communication and coordination with internal stakeholders as well as Suppliers.
- Organized and systematic approach to task management that enables timely closure of actions.
- Experience working with FAR, DFARS, Agency regulations, ITAR, etc.
- Experience with CostPoint
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Project)
