What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Analyst position at Global LT?
BILLING ANALYST
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for Global LT’s billing and various other administrative and processing responsibilities.
This is a hybrid position of 3 days in office and 2 days remote once our Troy, MI office reopens later in 2022. Other more fully remote considerations are possible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generate invoices and credit memos according to client instructions
• Enter information into electronic accounting and operation systems
• Order entry and processing
• Answer customer billing questions and troubleshoot billing issues and inquiries in a timely manner
• Provide administrative support to internal departments as needed
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by department manager
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Must be proficient in Windows and MS Office applications, emphasis on Excel skills required
• Experience with generating invoices and creating credit memos is helpful
• Ability to communicate professionally in a diverse environment
• Exhibit exceptional skills in organization, accuracy, consistency and attention to detail
• Team-oriented and comfortable working remotely from home
• Understand deadlines and be able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks
• Must be a self-starter with the drive to research, show creativity and recommend efficiency improvements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• 2 years of accounting or administrative experience preferred
