Position Description
The Regional Manager will be responsible for supervising all aspects of fixed wing flight operations in their designated region and supporting other regions or global projects as assigned. This position reports directly to the Chief Pilot.
- Oversee and manage fixed wing crew members in assigned areas
- Ensure all flight operations are conducted safely and in compliance with FARs, the GOM, and GrandView policies
- Provide supervision to crew members concerning regulatory issues.
- Be responsible for correcting compliance and safety issues when directed by the Director of Operations, or Chief Pilot
- Coordinate crew training events to include CAE, .297, .299, NATA, CTS, Cornerstone, and GrandView required ground training such as CPR, Emergency and Drills, etc.
- Serve on the rotational schedule of 119 management release authorizations
- Provides chief pilot with timely and accurate reports of the status of pilot training and compliance
- Manage APG, iPreflight, Foreflight, Jeppesen, Fltplan, accounts and applications
- Participate in the pilot recruitment process (interviews, new hire processing, etc)
- Work with GrandView leadership on matters concerning employee development and engagement
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's in Business Aviation Administration or Aviation Management preferred
- Commercial Pilots License or Dispatch License Required
- At least (5) years experience in management which includes supervisor, budgetary and safety oversight.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills - demonstrates open, honest and respectful communication
- Strong Data Entry and record management skills
- Must be located within 1 hour of [Airport Location]
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift, push or pull to 15 pounds, walk, bend, stretch, and climb stairs.
- Must have the ability to think clearly, speak intelligibly on the telephone and in person.
- Must have good interpersonal and verbal skills in order to interface with vendors and employees.
