What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Sales Representative position at Global Open Wound Care?
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed. Earnings will be 100% based on commission, but supplemented with a bi-weekly draw. You will be responsible for the overall sales process including prospecting, generating qualified leads, developing customer relationships, networking, participating in tradeshows/events, and more. The position will be entirely field-based. The position will require heavy driving around your assigned metro area every day.
Duties and Responsibilities
·Develop strong relationships with referring agencies to promote wound care services
·Partner with operations team to ensure client and agency satisfaction, and follow up on referrals to ensure seamless referrer and patient experience with our company
·Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs
·Represent the company at industry events and in the field
·Coordination with internal team members to ensure proper execution of plans for new business opportunities
·Travel required within the region
Required Skills
·Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
·Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and achieve goals, and capable of thriving in 100% commission sales role
·Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, multi-tasking, and time management
·Computer savvy with experience using Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
·Reliable transportation
Minimum Qualifications: Education /Licensing/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; will consider additional years of experience in lieu of degree
